    Peter Doyle is a human factors engineer with more than 40 years experience. As the first human factors engineer in The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Doyle evaluated medical devices for purchase and supported patient safety initiatives for surgical tools, alarm
    management, and urgent care response. He also performed risk management and developed guidance for integrating complex healthcare technology.

    In addition to teaching several core BME courses such as Modeling and Design, Molecules and Cells, and Computational Cardiology, Dr. Haase recently served as a Fulbright Scholar at the Mbarara University of Science and Technology in Uganda. She will be speaking about her life and career in teaching, research, engineering design, and global health.
