As a department that is shared between the Whiting School of Engineering and the School of Medicine, we have two campuses – the Homewood campus and the East Baltimore campus. The Homewood campus is comprised of 140 acres of green, inviting space and historic buildings within the vibrant city of Baltimore, MD. Undergraduates in the biomedical engineering program will find the Homewood campus to be an active and energetic place to live and study. From classrooms to residence halls and performance spaces to winding paths through gorgeous landscaping, Homewood makes it easy for you to become part of the larger community. The East Baltimore campus is located five miles from the Homewood campus, and is accessible using the free Blue Jay shuttle. This campus is home to the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Public Health, and the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
One of the best ways to evaluate if JHU is the right fit for you is to visit the campus. Information sessions and guided tours are available most weekdays and on select Saturdays in the fall. Reservations are not required. See the Johns Hopkins University website for more information on planning your on-campus visit. Start things off by taking a virtual tour of the Homewood campus!
