News Brief: Rama Chellappa elected as a Foreign Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering

Rama Chellappa, a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor in biomedical engineering and electrical and computer engineering and an interim co-director of the Data Science and AI Institute, has been elected as a Foreign Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering. This honor is conferred to those “who have made outstanding contributions in the selected areas of engineering and technology, maintained a consistent professional relationship with India, and emerged as a global leader for their most distinguished accomplishments.”
