Research Interests
Dr. Uneri’s research focuses on advancing image-guided interventions and robotic surgery through the development of accurate image-based sensing, physics-informed machine learning, and precise robotic manipulation. Areas of interest include: (1) model- and learning-based multidimensional image registration, (2) hardware and software systems integration for image-guided interventions, and (3) the incorporation of imaging and image guidance in surgical robotics.
